Chasing Shadows is a street photography series focused on silhouetted figures found within different urban environments in New York City. The work explores contrast, light, and composition, using shadow as a defining element to shape how the subject is seen within the frame.

Rather than isolating individuals in clear detail, I’m drawn to how people appear within light and shadow, becoming part of the larger structure of the scene. Each image captures a moment where form, movement, and environment intersect, emphasizing atmosphere and visual tension.

This is an ongoing series that I plan to continue in different locations during travel, documenting how silhouettes and light behave across varying urban spaces.
