Chasing Shadows is an ongoing street photography project exploring the presence of silhouetted figures within urban environments around the world. Beginning in New York City, the series examines how light, shadow, and architectural space shape the way people are seen, transforming everyday encounters into studies of form, movement, and composition.

Rather than focusing on individual identity or explicit detail, I am drawn to the relationship between the human figure and its surroundings. Silhouettes become both subjects and compositional elements, moving through spaces defined by contrast, geometry, and shifting light. Each photograph captures a fleeting intersection of person, place, and atmosphere, where the ordinary becomes visually abstract.

As the project expands across cities and countries, I aim to explore how different environments influence the appearance and character of the silhouette. From narrow urban passages to expansive streets and unfamiliar architectural landscapes, each location offers new opportunities to observe the interplay between light, shadow, and human presence.
