5:00pm in Chinatown is a street and documentary photography series capturing the rhythm of the neighborhood throughout different moments of the day, from earlier hours into late afternoon and approaching golden hour.
The work focuses on everyday life, movement, and atmosphere observing how the energy of the streets shifts over time while remaining grounded in routine and familiarity. Rather than documenting a single continuous moment, the series builds a visual impression of daily life through separate but connected observations.
Through these images, I aim to highlight the quiet structure of a working neighborhood and the way people, space, and time interact within it.
